4-H Family Living Department
Rules and Information
- A maximum of 3 items per section.
- Entries are due August 23rd, 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm, unless specified in the division .
- 4-H Cloverbuds will receive 10 points for each exhibit.
- Junior, Intermediate and Senior participants receiving a blue ribbon qualify to submit their entry at the Washington State 4-H Fair, as long as they are enrolled in the appropriate project.
- May enter up to 3 items in each section.
- Division 1: Clothing & Sewn Items, all exhibits must have a permanently attached care label, or be accompanied by a 3×5 card containing the fiber content and care instructions.
- Food exhibits must be accompanied by a 3” X 5” recipe card taped to the bottom of plate.
- All food exhibits must be on a 9-inch paper plate and enclosed in a plastic zip-locked bag.
- Baked entries are due August 23rd, 3:00-9:00 pm or August 24th, 7:30 am – 8:30 am.
- No cream frostings or fillings.
- Food preservation must follow the rules in the Canning Department.
- You may register online at FairEntry by August 21st or register entries in person on August 23rd.
