4-H Family Living Department

Rules and Information

  1. A maximum of 3 items per section.
  2. Entries are due August 23rd, 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm, unless specified in the division .
  3. 4-H Cloverbuds will receive 10 points for each exhibit.
  4. Junior, Intermediate and Senior participants receiving a blue ribbon qualify to submit their entry at the Washington State 4-H Fair, as long as they are enrolled in the appropriate project.
  5. May enter up to 3 items in each section.
  6. Division 1: Clothing & Sewn Items, all exhibits must have a permanently attached care label, or be accompanied by a 3×5 card containing the fiber content and care instructions.
  7. Food exhibits must be accompanied by a 3” X 5” recipe card taped to the bottom of plate.
  8. All food exhibits must be on a 9-inch paper plate and enclosed in a plastic zip-locked bag.
  9. Baked entries are due August 23rd, 3:00-9:00 pm or August 24th, 7:30 am – 8:30 am.
  10. No cream frostings or fillings.
  11. Food preservation must follow the rules in the Canning Department.
  12. You may register online at FairEntry by August 21st or register entries in person on August 23rd.
