Rules and Information

  1. Exhibitors may enter up to 6 entries in any section, except where specified.
  2. Exhibits must be the recent and original work of the exhibitor and not have been entered in previous Fair years.
  3. Exhibits cannot be a copy of an original.
  4. Oil paintings must be simply framed.
  5. Drawings and printings on paper must be matted, fixed or protected, and framed under glass as is fitting for the media.
  6. All exhibits must be ready of hanging with wire or sturdy cord firmly attached and not taped to the exhibit.
  7. No saw tooth hangers on heavy exhibit.
  8. Maximum size for exhibits should be 28″ x 36″, for convenience of exhibiting.
  9. Some judging points: neatness, visual appeal, overall quality, withstands handling, suitability of materials.
  10. Anything not meeting above standards will be for showing only and at the discretion of the Superintendent.
  11. Exhibits entered at exhibitors own risk; however, normal care will be taken to safeguard all exhibits.
  12. If there is room, some exhibits can be classified as non judging for display only.
  13. Exhibits are due Wednesday, August 23rd, 3:00 pm -9:00 pm.
