Ambassador Responsibilities
- A minimum of twelve (12) appearances or 80% of all scheduled activities, unless excused by the LCFAB, will be required in order to receive the $500.00 scholarship (See #5 for details).
- Ambassadors will be required to participate in fund-raising activities to maintain the Ambassador Expense Fund at a desirable working level.
- Ambassadors shall be ex-officio Fair Advisory Board Members during the term and are required to attend the monthly LCFAB meetings during the term to report on activities and appearances.
- Scholarships in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded to each Ambassador. A certificate of scholarship will be presented to the Ambassadors at the October LCFAB meeting.
- Ambassadors will be expected to distribute Fair & Rodeo information and hang promotional posters.
- Ambassadors will help with various activities at the Fair & Rodeo as requested by the FCFAB.
- Clean attire is required at all times. Shirts for appearances will be provided by the LCFAB. Dark colored jeans are to be worn.
Yearly Activity Ambassador Responsibilities
- Attend and help at the Fair & Rodeo, Lindsey Smith will be primary point of contact.
- Host a Fall Kick-Off Fund Raiser for the Ambassador Program.
- Attend scheduled LCFAB meetings.
- Meet with schools over the school year to provide updates to teachers and students on upcoming Fair & Rodeo events.
- Attending each “Town Days” events within Lincoln County. You can participate in the parade as you see fit and walk around and pass out information or set up a booth to promote the Fair & Rodeo.
