First Time Entering at the Lincoln County Fair & Rodeo

You are interested in entering an exhibit at the Fair & Rodeo but not sure what you can enter. Check out some of the questions that we get with first time exhibitors.

Understanding phrases used at the Fair & Rodeo:

  1. Premium Book-exhibitor information complied.
  2. Department-relates to the hierarchy or organizational structure of the Fair & Rodeo. The departments are categorized as Livestock, 4-H and FFA, Open and Educational.
  3. Division-indicates the type of exhibits an exhibitor can enter
  4. Class-is a listing of the type of exhibits under a division.
  5. Lot-
  6. Move in Day-the day all exhibitors need to bring their exhibits to the Fair & Rodeo
  7. Premium Points-means a monetary points that the Lincoln County Fair awards to an exhibitor after judging all competing exhibits in the class to which the premium pertains.
  8. Danish Judging System-means a judging system that allows for multiple first, second, and third place.

    Who can enter exhibits at the Lincoln County Fair & Rodeo?

    Exhibitors are categorized into three age groups, 4-H, FFA and Open.

     Exhibitor
    Age Groups

    4-H:  Age as of October 1, 2024
    FFA:  Grade completed for the 2024-2025 school year

    Open: Age as of January 1, 2025

    4-H Cloverbud * 4-H Junior
    4-H Intermediate * 4-H Senior

    FFA Freshman/Sophomore
    FFA Junior/Senior

    Open Junior (Ages to 12) * Open Teen (Ages 13-18)

    Open Adult (Ages 19 & over)


    Is there a fee for entering exhibits at the Fair & Rodeo?

    There is an entry fee for exhibitors who enter exhibits in Livestock departments.


    When can I sign up for my exhibits for the Fair & Rodeo?

    Registration for entering exhibits opens July 1st. You can register your entries online at FairEntry.
