4-H Demonstrations Department
Rules and Information
- The superintendent will schedule demonstration times and will notify entrants.
- All exhibitors must provide a phone number and an email address for notification of demonstration times.
- The superintendent will try to work around other events.
- It is very important if you sign up for a demonstration, you keep it; this is a courtesy for our judges.
- Only one demonstration per project.
- You may use any project already exhibited in the Lincoln County Fair. (i.e. livestock, poster, craft project, etc.)
- A maximum of 20 minutes is scheduled for a demonstration. This includes setting up, presentation, questions, answers, and clean up. Two or more may work together to give a team demonstration.
- If using a live animal, please indicate the type of animal with entry, very important for scheduling.
- Small animals may be used on the stage in the Food and Craft Building.
- Large animals already in livestock barns and shown as 4-H projects, may be used for a demonstration occurring in the designated outside demonstration area near the livestock barns.
- A table and easel will be provided in both designated demonstration areas.
- C-430 4-H demonstration evaluation will be used for judging all demonstrations.
- All scores will be posted in each demonstration area as they are compiled.
- Demonstrations going to State Fair must be presented at the Lincoln County Fair.
- By State Fair rules: State Fair 4-H Demonstrations is for Intermediates and Seniors.

Registration for online entries opens July 1st. All entries need to be entered at FairEntry by August 19th. |
