Rules and Information

1. The superintendent will schedule demonstration times and will notify entrants.
2. All exhibitors must provide a phone number and an email address for notification of demonstration times.
3. The superintendent will try to work around other events.
4. It is very important if you sign up for a demonstration, you keep it; this is a courtesy for our judges.
5. Only one demonstration per project.
6. You may use any project already exhibited in the Lincoln County Fair. (i.e. livestock, poster, craft project, etc.)
7. A maximum of 20 minutes is scheduled for a demonstration. This includes setting up, presentation, questions, answers, and clean up. Two or more may work together to give a team demonstration.
8. If using a live animal, please indicate the type of animal with entry, very important for scheduling.
9. Small animals may be used on the stage in the Food and Craft Building.
10. Large animals already in livestock barns and shown as 4-H projects, may be used for a demonstration occurring in the designated outside demonstration area near the livestock barns.
11. A table and easel will be provided in both designated demonstration areas.
12. C-430 4-H demonstration evaluation will be used for judging all demonstrations.
13. All scores will be posted in each demonstration area as they are compiled.
14. Demonstrations going to State Fair must be presented at the Lincoln County Fair.
15. By State Fair rules: State Fair 4-H Demonstrations is for Intermediates and Seniors.
