2023 Pig Scramble

When: Friday, August 25th during the Lincoln County Open Rodeo.
Location: Lincoln County Fair in the Widmer Arena

Forms and entry fee are due no later than 6:00 pm August 25th, NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Come out and support the Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo and have a pig squealing good time!!!

Pig Scramble Rules

The Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo, the Lincoln County Fair Advisory Board and all other associates with the Rodeo will not be responsible for any accidents connected with the pig scramble.

• The pig scramble will be held on Friday night during the Lincoln County Open Rodeo.
• Eligibility requirements for the scramble are Ages 17 & Under.
• Contestant & Legal Guardian must sign the Pig Scramble Entry Form and return it NO LATER than Friday, August 25, 2023 at 6:00 pm.
• NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted.
• THERE IS A $5.00 ENTRY FEE PER CONTESTANT. THIS ENTRY FEE MUST BE PAID WITH THE ENTRY, AND IS DUE NO LATER THAN AUGUST 25th AT 6:00 pm.
• There will be ONE heat with a time limit of 5 minutes.
• Each contestant will attempt to catch the pig and then pull or carry the pig to the designated area without assistance.
• All pigs must be carried or pulled across the designated area.
• If two or more contestants catch the same pig, they both will be required to release the pig by order of the Fair Advisory Board.
• The Fair Advisory Board will declare the winner.
• Poor sportsmanship will disqualify any contestant automatically and undue roughness WILL NOT be tolerated by the Fair Advisory Board.
• Any abuse of the pigs will result in immediate disqualification.
• Caught pig is owned by the child who caught it and must receive proper care from new owner.
